  The Organization set up of TAMONGSCO, exhibit the typical character of a Non Government organization, organizational and management structures The highest decision making organ of TAMONGSCO is the general meeting which holds its ordinary meeting once per annum and attended by all members. The supreme management organ is the National Executive Committee (NEC) composed of seventeen members as categorized below: -

Category I. Five elected officers referred to as office bearers consisting of the Chairperson, vice-chairperson, secretary general, deputy secretary general and the treasurer.

Category II. Eight Chairpersons of each of its operating zones (i.e. Eastern, western, central, Northeastern, northwestern, southern, highlands and lake zones).

Category III. Four members elected by the annual general meeting.

The day to day running of the association activities are supervised by the office bearers. These Leaders work under the Jurisdiction of the Executive Committee. TAMONGSCO The Honorary Chairperson is the Chief Executive Officer of the association and is responsible for, inter alia, chairing all national meetings (the Annual General Meeting, National Executive Committee and office Bearers). During his/her absence the Vice chairperson fully assumes his/her role. The Honorary Secretary General is the association’s chief Administrative officer and is thus responsible for its administrative affairs, recording and keeping of minutes held at national level. S/he is also responsible for correspondences to the ministry, professional bodies and other relevant authorities. During his/her absence, the deputy secretary general fully assumes his/her roles The Honorary Treasurer is responsible for all finance matters of the association including, proper upkeep and maintenance of the association books of Account. The incumbent is also responsible for presentation to the National Executive audited books of accounts TAMONGSCO operates through functional wings which include:- 3.1 The Organization of Heads of Non-Government Pre- and Primary schools (OHONGPPS). 3.2 The Organization of Heads of Non-Government Secondary Schools in Tanzania (OHONGSS – T). 3.3 The Organization of Principals of Non-Government Colleges (OPONGC). 3.4 The Savings and Credits Co-operative Society (TAMONGSCO SACCOS)
